These parent sessions are on Friday morning."

Places to Stay

New Student Registration 
Thursday, August 20

 Dress code for arrival and orientation is casual (jeans, shorts, sweatpants).
We do ask, however, that you do not wear shorts to the All-School Assembly!

Registration

10:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. in Nettleton Center

During the registration process, you will receive your keys, room assignment, and schedules. We will also make sure that all of your forms are completed and verify that your information is correct to ensure that you have a smooth transition to classes!

Move In

After Registration in Residence Halls

Once you finish checking in, you can move into your room! Your Resident Advisors (RAs) and Deepen Group Leaders will be at your residence hall or apartment to answer questions and help with your move-in process. Make sure you are at the All-School Assembly at 8:00 p.m.

Lunch

12:00-1:30 p.m. in Benson Hall

New Students and their families are welcome to enjoy lunch in our dining hall for free during this time.

Free Time

1:30-4:45 p.m. in Residence Halls

Please use this time to settle into your room and get to know your roommates! Parents are welcome in the residence halls at this time. If you need any help carrying in items, RAs and Deepen Group Leaders will be there to assist you.

Kick off the new year together! This fun welcome event brings new and returning students together for the first time as a full campus community. Join us for singing, giveaways, and more as we celebrate the start of a new school year!
Parents are welcome and encouraged to attend.

Breakfast

7:00-8:45 a.m. in Benson Hall

New Students and their families are welcome to enjoy breakfast in our dining hall for free during this time.

Parent Session

9:00-11:00 a.m. in Nettleton Gym

These special sessions have been designed specifically for parents to encourage and inform them as their children enter college.

Free Time

11:00 a.m.-12:00 p.m.

Enjoy spending time with your student on- and off-campus.

Lunch

12:00-1:30 p.m. in Benson Hall

Last names A-K: 12:00-12:45 pm

Parent's Full Schedule

Please note: Our registration times during Welcome Week are specifically designed to help students have a smooth transition to college and campus life. Students cannot move into their rooms until they have completed registration. We cannot allow students to move into their rooms early.
